In an unprecedented move, the Supreme Court, on Thursday, gave permission for its judgement in the legal dispute trailing the presidential election that was held in the country on February 25, to be televised




The apex court gave clearance for live coverage of the proceeding, barely 15 minutes before the time (9 a.m.) that was scheduled for the Justice Inyang Okoro-led seven-man panel to commence the delivery of the judgement.

Popular Nollywood actor, Nkem Owoh, aka Osuọfia has reportedly rejected a N10 Million offer to endorse Bola Tinubu, APC Presidential candidate ahead of the 2023 Presidential election. According to sources, the Veteran Nollywood Actor said N10 Million cannot buy his endorsement as 2023 is critical for the collective good of all citizens and would NEVER be sold. It was learnt that Osuofia was offered the usual 5 million Naira for endorsement of the candidate, but he refused. Even when the offer was doubled on account of his worth, he still refused.  According to him, not everybody is amenable to the persuasiveness of money.

Former Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi, has charged Nigerians to stop selling their votes as the 2023 general elections draw closer, asking them to ensure sanctity and secrecy of the ballots. Sanusi expressed worry that some Nigerian voters are in the habit of displaying their thumb-printed ballot papers as an evidence to trade their votes to politicians. Sanusi spoke virtually during the 4th anniversary lecture of Penpushing Media held at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
