challenging Tribunal judgement. 


On Thursday, Oct. 26, the Supreme Court dismissed the appeal filed by the People’s Democratic Party presidential  candidate, Atiku Abubakar, challenging the Sept. 6 judgement of the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal. 


The apex court also upheld the rulling by the Appeal Court that a candidate does not need to get at least 25 percent of votes in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to be declared as the country's president.
