 Hon. Ugochukwu Brown Ugba has emerge the flag bearer of the New Nigeria People's Party NNPP for Isuikwuato- Umunneochi Federal Constituency in the just concluded primary election of the Party held across the state.  His aspiration has over the preceding months gathered wide spread endorsement and acceptance across the party and the state at large which prompted every other contestant for the ticket to step down for him and return him unopposed.  Ugochukwu Brown Ugba therefore emerge unopposed and will fly the NNPP ticket in the forth coming general election.  The wide endorsement of Hon. Ugochukwu Brown Ugba is coming as a result of the below par performance of the incumbent who has failed in all respect to leave up to expectations.  While appreciating the audience promised to fulfill all the promise he made to the party if elected .

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has commented on the emergence of Atiku as PDP's presidential candidate for the 2023 elections. The APC presidential aspirant congratulated Atiku on his victory. Tinubu added that he looks forward to squaring up with Atiku "as a worthy opponent in the coming election."

Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma has received the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church Of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye to Imo State. Announcing the visit of the Cleric late Friday, the governor expressed his profound gratitude for visiting the state.
