The Question

Which one is better, what will you do as a leader ?: after much competition and struggle ,you succeeded in making it up there as a leader , will you fight those who opposed you and competed wit you or will you extend the olive branch to them ,appoint them to work with you and then make them even more stronger ,allow them gather more resources to fight again in the future

In Fighting them, what are the tools you may likely employ. you will employ both psychological and non-psychological method. you will use everything at your disposal, you will use all the government, societal, religious, organizational apparatus, all the agencies around will be involved, you will use the government, community, organizational, societal, religious fund and resources, you will use both physical means and spiritual means

The Target

The main thing  is that you want him to be a history , you want to cut their wings .you must pull them down and ensure there are not going to resurrect again tomorrow , by pulling them down ,let us see how they will ever rise again , let us see how they will ever talk when you are talking , let us see how they will come close to challenging you in leadership , infant the highest of it all is that we end up masterminding the death of these people

The Revelation

Among the needs of man as highlighted in the need hierarchy theory is the need for self-actualization and satisfaction . in other way there is the need every man have inherent in him to climb high and move from where he is to another place that is higher and until he attain that enviable height he is always endeavoring to keep trying until he attains it

But do you know that as you are striving to move up so also is another person striving to move up which invariably will create competition among people staying together ,it could be in the word place , it could be in religious gathering ,community setting or even in the academic environment and the political cycle is not left out because competition is bound to resurrect  as everybody strive to the rightful person at the topmost seat

I will discuss later  what people go on to do in a bid  to overtake others and move to the top , I have witness where blackmail came in , I have witness where tribal sentiment come in , I have witness where mediocrity is enthroned ,I have witness where failure is approved ,I have witness where the rich are considered and they bribe their way through ,I have also witnessed where the poor are considered out of pity ,I have also witnessed where pride, falsehood, eyeservice took over ,I will discuses incidence where merit is given a top priority .all this have it pros and cons  I will discuss it later because they all have a take in who become a leader and who will not be 

But my major take is to open your eyes to the fact that irrespective of how small that position you are aspiring to get into is that opposition will come in your way. even in Christian gathering, there is no exception. Which one will you do therefore: to fold your hands and believe that leadership will come to you on merit and therefore you do not have to struggle about it or will you go all out to fight for it after all power and authority is not given free of charge

The choice is yours but I will discuss later the two-style pointing out the pros and the cons. yes to fight your way through have both advantages and disadvantages, to also fold your hands and wait for leadership to come on merit have also it advantages and disadvantages. but opposition will come and let us reason on this model of leadership

You have succeeded after all, you have won that election, you have succeeded after all, you have that contract, you have won that appointment. you have succeeded in obtaining that promotion, you have succeeded after all in getting that religious appointment out of a multitude of others who were also vying for it (do not forget that you may not be the most qualified. you may not be the richest. you may not even be the most hardworking, I will discuss what it implies later) but the summary is that out the multitude, you have succeeded in obtaining the top seat, what will you do

The first option is to fight those who oppose you. they were not in support of you in the beginning, you are assuming that now is the very opportunity you have to cut their wings. they made you to spend much, they made you to talk too much, you even pleaded with them but they did not listen, now you have gotten the top most seat, I will cut their wings 

In cutting their wings and fighting them, you have also a choice to do it codedely without others noticing it. You will pretend that things are ok in public domain while in secret you are looking for means to attack him or her , you are looking for means to sentence him or her  , you will also have a chose to fight them openly so that every body will know that you are fighting them , and by them knowing about it , people will stay away from them so as not to attract your harmer also , it is even better for you if they are alone

What if we succeed, what if our plans go perfectly as we want it, what if our plans go uninterrupted. we succeeded as we plan it and there are no longer alive, we killed them, it means that we have succeeded in answering the name of murderers. our hands are soiled with blood of those killed, we will have that guilty consciences forever. as long as we live, we will always remember that we are the person responsible for the murder and death of them

Though it is possible that we are the only people privy to the death of this people. though it is possible that only few men around us know that we instigated and caused the death of that man. but have you thought it this way, that though men and women may not know about what we have done but there is a God who is privy to it, there is nothing hidden from his foresight, he knows everything that goes on earth at every time it is done

What if we succeed in reducing them to nothing without killing them at all. we may smile whenever we see them, we may laugh whenever we see them. we may make joke of them and their current state of life but only but one day, there is going to be a resurrection , they may resurrect back to life in measures beyond our imagination , they are going to come back stronger and waxing stronger than in the beginning , and by then you may not be able  to contend with them

Another fact you need to know is that by fighting them , you are making them strong , people do not really know about this that you make people strong by fighting them , let assume you are fighting your opponent with a gun , and it continue for  a long time , there is that tendency for him to get accustomed to gun that your gun may invariably become impotent on him , it was not like that from the beginning  but by fighting  them , you have made them to learn the tricks involved in absorbing gun ad bullet therefore when you are fighting those who oppose you ,you really need to have a rethink because of the consequences attached to it

Those you are fighting could also generate pity from those who are around you. those around you may feel pity for them. they will feel you are using your power wrongly, they will feel that power is intoxicating you and it is that little promotion that is making you to misbehave , you will loose the respect of people , though they will fear but they will not respect you , they will talk about you at the back and say a lot of negative things about you simply because you are misbehaving

When that man you are fighting succeed in gathering enough pity, he will overthrow you, all he need is simply peoples pity and when he has gathered enough pity you are out of the way . you have succeeded in making yourself a tyrant who does not want opposition, you have succeeded in making yourself another enemy of the mases and such success is bound to fail
