ON ALLEGED THREAT FROM THE DEPUTY GOVERNOR AGAINST PROF. IGWEMS

Even the bible recorded that if you have grievance with your brother , you should meet the elders foyour opinion , it is your right ,everybody must not quee behind RT HON SIR UDE OKO . no .everybody must not stand behind him but it is a pity that majority of those standing against him are those who have benefited from him in one way or the other


How long do we continue to fight against each other .this is my question. How long do we continue to send issues relating to us as a community to Igbere Tv. how long do we continue with the battle within brothers when we can settle this issues and then move on as a community , this is my humble appeal , the election have come and gone let peace reign and let us all think of how better we can move our community forward , those who have issues against the person of the deputy governor should seek communal means of settling it instead of going to IGBERE TV to do that .thank you all.



Sir I would ordinarily not have responded to this your SOS message except that it was published by an online media platform (igbere tv) that have never seen anything good to say about the present administration in Abia state. more especially when the person of Rt. Sir Ude Oko is mentioned.


I observed and monitored how this online media organization carried out its verbal outburst against this present administration , it waste no time and energy in condemning every action of the government in moving the state forward and it is a verifiable fact that the online news platform in question is being sponsored continuously by the former governor of Abia state


Prof. I am happy that in your SOS message to the governor of Abia state , you pointed out the fact that election is over and therefore everybody deserve to rest while the government is allowed to focus on governance and move the state forward . but I wonder why you are not willing to allow the state deputy governor to rest , you campaigned against his re-election in affinity with your co-hort with every strength and vigor and stamina in you as if your life was depended on him loosing the last march election


Even after the election was conducted and you observed that he was winning the election on that faithful Saturday , you were influenced by the power that be to write a petition to INEC alleging that the election was compromised and that the deputy governor had used his influence to rig the election in his own town . were you expecting the deputy governor to lose election is his own village , but that is not possible irrespective of the many opposition from people like you , Nkporo is a PDP strong base and nothing will change that


You masterminded the petition and cook up baseless information without foundation. I wonder how much you were paid because you did a wonderful assignment in that petition and the copy of the petition is with us and your plan was to use it to compel the state INEC to cancel the election in Nkporo just like it was done in the national assembly election where our vote was canceled as a result of bad eggs living among us



Unfortunatly for you, you failed and the election result was not canceled, rather the PDP took the day and announced the winner of the said election . I was privy to the fact that you were promised ministerial appointment as being alleged in some quarters if only you can help to bring down your own brother from the same community , he is your brother and from the same community and blood is ticker than water they say but for you the promised appointment as a minster was more important to you than the blood that join brothers together



I thought now that the election is over , you will rest and leave the present deputy governor and his boss to rest instead of your continues onslaught against him using every possible means . sir I accept the fact that our community is underdeveloped and you are hanging it on the deputy governor but please can you tell me your own contribution as a professor to move Nkproro forward or are you interested in making the deputy look like the black sheep amidst our woes


Sir we all know that there was no violence in Nkporo on the said date of the gubernatorial election and if you have photograph of the said violence ,please provide it and I don’t think there is anything wrong with your community inviting you to know why you hate your own brother and want to bring him down by all means when he has done nothing evil or bad against you , your community want to know what the offences is and then know how to settle issues between you and the deputy governor .and I don’t think there is anything wrong with you going to see them if you think you have a case


Lets assume you have a case against the deputy governor or the PDP in Nkporo or the ENDU, is it not better and right that you appear before them and state it instead of going to IGBERE TV to register your allegation simply to score cheap popularity which will do you no good , you wrote a petition which you have accepted . why not appear before them to defend yourself, let assume as stated in your SOS message that you don’t want to appear and answer in secret place . why not appear in public place also and defend your allegation if you have any issue as alleged instead of going to IGBERE TV


But you have refused to honour such invitation but rather you are going about announcing to the world about threat on your life . while refusing to honour an invitation by your community. is this not enough proof to all and sundry that you are yet to say what your problem is , is it not enough proof to all that you have sinister motive , is it not enough proof that you are not telling the world the real truth . please honour the invitation, go and tell them what your problem is and let the community look into it and settle the case between you and your brother ,enough of the media trial for Christ sake
