Founding fathers Of Abia PDP Revealed As Confidential Memo Leak Online

The ongoing tussle concerning the control of The People's Democratic Party in Abia State took another dimension today as a purported memo containing the names of the 21 founding fathers of the party has leaked online.

Though the source of the leaked memo containing the 21 names available to AFNews who founded the party is yet to be verified but it will interest you to note that the Current People's Democratic Party PDP in Abia was founded as a result of the collapse of the following political affiliation into one single umbrella: People's National Front PNF. People's Democratic Movement PDM. Social Progressive Party SPP. New Era Alliance NERA, All Nigerian Congress ANC. National League For Good Governance NLGF among others.

While interacting with one among the founding fathers of PDP in the state who does not desire his name on print he said " Exactly on Friday 4th September, 1998, a political evolution  unfolded itself in Abia State. What was it? Twenty-one Political Leaders, drawn mainly from six National Political Associations existing in Abia State, came together and Convened the newly-formed Peoples Democratic Party in the State."

He alleged that " Two meetings were scheduled for the day. The first meeting took place about 10 am at Seabia Hotel Complex, Aba Road, Umuahia. The meeting nearly resulted into a free-for-all. At the end, you can trust politicians, it ended peacefully.The second meeting took place at Nwannedinamba Hall, at 25 Macaulay Street, Umuahia, at 1 pm."

According to him " in both meetings, he was the Compere, otherwise known as Master of Ceremony but Out of the 21 Political Leaders that Convened the Party, I know of 10 that have died. May their souls continue to rest in peace."

But the question on the lips of many Abians is whether or not this party was founded on any known ideology ? If yes ,what are this ideologies of PDP ? Do you feel the Party has played significant role in whatever mess Abia State is in today . ?

  It is necessary to put an end to the corruption at Abia State School of Nursing, particularly on the Amachara Campus. Otherwise, the schoo reputation is under threat and her certificates will amount to toilet tissues.  The entrance form is purchased from the Ministry of Health at the cost of ₦10,000 paid to UBA. Some students paid a ransom fee between ₦80,000 and ₦150,000 to the school administrators to secure admission.
